JW1Coos Bay, Oregon – Last night at 9:19 p.m, Jonathan Walker aka “John-John”, a 20 year old male was arrested at a residence on Idaho Ave. in Coos Bay by the U.S. Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force (OFTF), the Coos Bay Police Department, and the Oregon State Police.  Walker was wanted in connection with two separate shooting incidents involving three victims in the past 8 months.  The most recent attack stems from an incident last June in Vallejo California where Walker shot and killed 22 year old Michael Ross in a parking lot outside Sonoma Apartments.  Walker is also wanted for a shooting that happened in January of this year when Walker shot two men in San Francisco, one being 19 year old Robert O’Bryant who was fatally wounded.  The other man was hospitalized but is now recovering.  Both men were attending a party at a private residence when an altercation broke out and the two were shot allegedly by Walker.  Walker is also currently on state parole in California for robbery.

The OFTF received information from investigators in California assigned to the Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force that Walker was hiding out in Coos Bay possibly with friends.  The OFTF developed the information on a possible location for Walker and in conjunction with the Coos Bay Police Department were able to positively Identify Walker inside the residence.

The Oregon State Police SWAT Team served a search warrant at 1601 Idaho Avenue in Coos Bay where Jonathan Walker was taken in to custody without incident.   Walker was taken to the Coos County Jail where he was lodged on felony warrants for Homicide and Parole Violation.
